The distinguished Grandview Hotel owned by the McClean family is situated in the beautiful oceanside town of Bowen and has graced the towns foreshores since 1919. The hotel recently underwent a major renovation with Hamptons Design Co. proudly leading the forefront for the new design, giving the old-Queenslander style building a modern, coastal feel while still allowing its historic charm to shine through.
The hotel is famous for it’s scene in the Hollywood movie ‘Australia’, starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. The hotel offers a stunning backdrop and beer garden for you to ‘just sit and take in’ and it’s patrons say, the hotel is very easy to fall in love with, hence it recently winning ‘multiple’ QHA awards in 2017.
