Rambutan building and design team won the AWCI awards of excellence for building best commercial project greater than 4 million dollars, competing against major contenders, with the likes of Robina Shopping Centre and it’s new food court extension.
Rambutan is Australia’s first ever ‘glam-packers’ Hostel oozing with character, personality and style and designed by Hampton’s Design Co. The impressive resort is located in the heart of Townsville City accommodating to a multitude of travelers, with 58 rooms and a quirky rooftop pool-bar and restaurant like no other in Australia. Hamptons Design Co bespoke designed fabrics, furniture and attention to detail set a high standard for any competitor and was awarded ‘Worlds best backpacker’s.’
