 360 Restaurant and Bar

The iconic Grand hotel was originally constructed in the late 1800’s overlooking the spectacular Broadwater. It was burned to the ground and rebuilt in early 2000. In June 2017 Hamptons Design Co. was contracted to reinvigorate the tired, however, extremely popular, ‘Three Sixty’ restaurant and bar. The restaurant was to open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Therefore, the décor needed to be carefully thought out to suit an ‘all round’ dining experience and a transformation from breakfast through to dinner. It was without a doubt the projects fitout was to embrace and highlight its beautiful coastal surroundings.

The furniture and décor selection was a crucial element in design, needing to withstand the open seaside conditions along with the wear and tear of the exuberant patron numbers this hotel brought.

The majority of seating, benches and stools were custom made and designed through our talented furniture makers, using galvanised metals or marine grade stainless steel bracings for stools and bar tables. It was also crucial diners sat in comfort as to enjoy their dining experience. Durable long-lasting fabrics were specified in which Hamptons Design Co has an edge and knowledgeable over the majority, with previously starting and owning an Australian textile company. The budget and brief for the restaurant, bar and new poker machine room were accomplished, the owners and patrons voicing their appreciation on completion and again some months after opening, when we received a rewarding email stating the hotels revenue had increased by 30% and that they had numerous patrons wanting to contact Hamptons Design Co to assist with other design prospects.
