The Palms - Gold Coast Interior Design Project
When clients Justine & Michael Ferrier approached us to undertake a re-model of their homes façade and entry we were thrilled with the brief being one of creating a ‘boutique hotel feel’.
Hamptons Design Co created a new entry, which incorporated building a gatehouse, laying a gorgeous tilled area and installing a beautiful wrought iron arch and tropical garden that leads up to a new porch and front door.
We were commissioned to design new balcony railings, the bespoke striped awnings and the now famous Champagne Bar. We worked with artisan concrete professionals to build a new pool feature wall and designed many unique touches like an overhanging sunbathing pad to make use of a very tight pool deck, re-configured outdated bathrooms and cabinetry and open up the master bedroom into a hotel style luxury suite.
Hamptons Design Co had full access to the project while the owners of the house were living overseas, so full project management was our responsibility. We achieved great success with The Palms and its unique presence in the community. The home has now become well known within the industry by creating an adventurous fresh new standard in residential renovation design.
